It’s supposed to be more than a word.

First, I publicly disagreed with him on his own site. Years ago. Haven’t been back.

I second-guessed myself about that, once, but only because of charity — for goodness’ sake, there was still plenty of value if not always Catholicism to be found in his Word on Fire site.

It’s not like he is trying to be unCatholic. He somehow doesn’t know how much of the Gospel he missed. Or, he is being sifted right before our eyes.

Then, I read of his mutual glow-up of Jordan Peterson.

And today, I read of his photo op with the naked emperor.

Color me abashed.

Down is up? I’m not having it. Especially from a licit Bishop.

Outrageous. I too easily recall, “Children, even now there are many antichrists…” and how I marveled at whom that could’ve been, because it surely wasn’t only the pagans who were being referred to…

Thank God for Pope Leo in these times.
