Our Small Part
I hope this final day of January finds you well. I'm sure many of you will be glad to move on to a new month that brings us closer to Spring. The sky is beautifully clear today, and with my husband visiting his daughter, I have the delightful opportunity to enjoy some precious alone time. I always try to notice God in the ordinary throughout my day. Those quiet moments where He invites me to see more deeply. This one moment stayed with me, and I wanted to share. We had plenty that night. We went out for our end-of-the-month dinner at a steakhouse. We left full and content, with a bag of boxed leftovers from the huge meal. I felt the weight of that (literally). I remembered what it’s like to not have enough. There were seasons in my life when feeding my boys took faith, creativity, and a lot of divine interventions.
