I'm posting earlier than planned, because I got concerned messages, our weather having apparently been in the news. Our local damage, after a wild afternoon and overnight of wind and rain, is pretty moderate. Our lights flickered several times but power stayed on. Here's the morning report on Handsome Son's condo development
Where I live, different development, I haven't detected any damage, different construction, also a more tree-sheltered area.
The wind is still brisk, the ground saturated, so I'm not walking under any trees today, though there's sunshine.
So, since my socks are wearing out all at once, I'm planning on staying home and doing some visible mending
White yarn for colored socks, colored yarn for white socks. As you see, the white was unraveled from another knit, lovely Shepherd Susie natural color wool yarn.
Food today will involve salmon and peas and potatoes in some form, maybe pasties. Pictures tomorrow, originally planned for today but I thought you'd like to hear from me earlier.
Meanwhile if you like excellent bird photography, go to this marvelous person
And here's some mid winter color
Happy day, everyone. Thank you for your concern, all's well.
