Walking along the city farm

Insect friendly farm
Along the fields of the city farm in Almere we have now an insect friendly border.
A little close-up. Of course it is very late for this kind of measures but every bit helps. Have a nice week.

The N-O polder
In the middle of the polder. No tulips here.
Its not completely empty as this photo shows along the Ruttens canal not far from the photo above.

It is that time of the year again
The tulip fields in the N-O polder are in full blossom
We have only 2 weeks then the farmers remove the flowers on top to let all the food going into making of bulbs underground because they are growing tulip bulbs for export and not the flowers.
