T Stands For Triple Chocolate

If you wonder why you haven't heard from me, it's because Blogger has once again chosen to rear its ugly head and forbid me from leaving comments.  I get "Failed to Publish, Try Again Later."  I keep trying every so often.  One of these times, I'm hopeful my comments will get through.

Now let's share some drinks.

BERJAYANot just double the chocolate, but triple the chocolate for T this week at my dining room table.

BERJAYAThe first chocolate is the drink, a chocolate protein drink.

BERJAYAThe other is my double chocolate "muffin."  There is chocolate cake with chocolate chips mixed in, not just on top, but all the way through.  To be honest, it was so rich, I couldn't eat it all in one sitting.

I've shown you mine, now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book, as I have done.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time.

Treasure Trovember 2025, Week 2

If you wonder why you haven't heard from me, it's because Blogger has once again chosen to forbid me from leaving comments.  I get "Failed to Publish, Try Again Later."  I DO keep trying ever so often.

It's Sunday which means it's time to share the latest Treasure Trovember installation.

BERJAYAThese are the images I found for Week 2 of Treasure Trovember.

BERJAYAOf course, the images would mean nothing without the prompts and my explanation of what I chose.

I chose one of my Rose of Sharon flowers I pressed.
I had trouble with this one (a toy) and finally settled on a spinning globe.
I got a bit carried away with the zig zags I created using a blue marker pen.
The hat (and goggles) pay homage to the fact Wichita, KS is the air capital of the world.
The song was mostly music.
The grunge paper was created using my coffee paper and three glitter crayons.
The party was birthday cakes and candles, which were tiny table decorations I purchased at Big Lots years ago.
The pattern was a dressmaker's sewing pattern.

Thanks for taking time to visit.  I am thrilled when you drop by.  Please join me every Sunday in November for Treasure Trovember, 2025.

T Stands For More Christmas Mugs

Here are a few more Christmas mugs I found while visiting The Spice Merchant.

BERJAYAI had to laugh because I know at least one Scrooge.  Do you?  I especially like the definition of reindeer: the poor animals chosen to drag santa's big boat around.

Treasure Trovember 2025, Week 1

For the sixth year in a row, I am playing in Treasure Trovember.

BERJAYA

I can't get everything on the scanner, so what you see here are the images from Week 1.

BERJAYAThese are the Week 1 prompts.

There are a total of 12 grids.  They were all supposed to be 2 7/8 inches square, but I hand cut all of them and some were much smaller than others.

The furniture is a couch.

The basketball bounces.

The man's hands are a body part.

The dots are blue and yellow.

The martini glass is make using gold leafing.

It's obvious the drinks are in glasses.

Thanks for taking time to visit.  Originally, the prompts were given at Collage Lab.  For this and last year, the prompts have been on YouTube.  Please join me every Sunday in November for Treasure Trovember, 2025.

T Stands For It's Beginning To Look

While at The Spice Merchant two days before Halloween,

BERJAYAit's beginning to look like Christmas.

Second on the 2nd: TIME

As most of you know, I like my second look each month to reflect our host at Art Journal Journey's (AJJ) theme. That means I needed to find something related to Wendy's theme, A moment in time.

Some of you have seen my TIME altered book.

BERJAYA   This is the cover and the first altered book cover I sewed.  If you want to see the book in its entirety, you will find it under Three of my competed altered books.  Alternately, for a direct link, click here.

Now it's time to share your own Second on the 2nd.  The rules are quite simple and everyone is welcome to join the fun look back.  All you have to do is bring back a post that you are especially proud of, or perhaps one you shared before anyone knew your blog existed.  It could even be one that holds special meaning.  Any post, any genre, any artistic endeavor is acceptable, as long as it's been published sometime in the past.  Then link below (direct links only, please) and Bleubeard and I, along with other Second on the 2nd friends, will be by to visit.  This link will be good until Monday 3 November at 4:00 p.m. my time.
