Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
I caught this sensational sunrise on an early-morning walk one day this week. Sure enough, the day turned stormy later on.

Grist State Park Getaway
Grist State Park is a favorite getaway for "metro Selmians." Well, Dallas County is about as rural as you can get, but the park features a big fishing lake, hiking trails, picnic and swimming areas, paddleboats and primitive plus modern camping facilities. Railroad Trestle at Sunset
Just before sunset is absolutely the best time for taking pictures at the river. This railroad trestle is located next to the New Orleans Steak & Seafood House (formerly Diego's).
