Gladstone's Library

Last week Partner-who-loves-tea and I went to Hawarden in N Wales to visit Gladstone's Library and use the reading room.  Gladstone's Library is a private library and charity of which we are both proud to be members since the facilities it offers are superb.

The building is attractive outside and in particular the reading room inside is beautiful.

The light of knowledge is here shining out of one of the reading room windows.

There is a cafe facility in the building called 'Food for Thought'  and there are bedrooms available both for those attending workshops and those simply wanting to be in a peaceful atmosphere.
