Batman Shot Out of a Cannon-1977
I believe this is the engagement that Adam West often described as the low point of his career--being shot out of a cannon! Adam said it was in EvansTON, Indiana but EvansVILLE is the name of the Indiana city. To add insult to (thankfully not) injury, the infamous LEGENDS OF THE SUPERHEROES Tv specials came right after this.

NYPD 1967-1969
NYPD (as opposed to the later NYPD BLUE) was a tough half hour cop series in the late 1960s starring Jack Warden, Frank Converse, and Robert Hooks.
Shot on location in New York City, it featured a number of great guest stars from the New York stage including Al Pacino, Cliff Gorman, William Devane, Julius Harris, Ossie Davis, Roy Scheider, Sam Waterston, Barbara Colby, James Earl Jones, Leaonard Frey, Verna Bloom, Jon Voight, Martin Sheen, Charles Grodin, and even John Cazale--his only television appearance.
As of this post, the whole series can be found on YouTube.

A Day in the Life--Early Notices 1967
The Beatles' masterpiece, "A Day in the Life." was apparently leaked to radio stations a couple f months before the actual release of SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND.
That "L.S. Mumblebee" above was actually "L.S. Bumblebee," a novelty song performed by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. It sounded so much like the Beatles that it was not only believed widely to BE them at the time but would appear on Beatles bootlegs for decades after!
