Dr. Joseph P. Bushons, chief milk tuapector and city veterinatian, yesterday reported rosults of the tabulations of a milk sooring period whch started August 1. During the week ending last of milk have been collected from every milk dealer dairyman having moro than Ave COWs. Those Were scored at the health department by Prof.

G. D. Turnbow university farms, University of California, Davis; R. J. Posson, market milk specialist, United States Department of Agriculture, and Dr.

F. Wilcox, State Department of Agriculture. This score card allows 100 points for perlect, of which thirty-five points are for bacterial count, Aftren points are for flavor and odor, ten points are for absence of sediment, fifteen points are for butter fat, Afteen points are for solida not fat, five points are for acidity, and points aro for apDearance of package. By the use of his system with disinterested judges, the standing of dairies placed -bofore the consumers in a fair and impartial manner, Dr. Bushong states.

It is the custom of the judges to allow points as arrived at from score card adopted by the resentatives of the United States Department of Agriculture, reau of Animal Industry, al stated above.
