There are so many amazing things to see in Florence. This couple is sitting beneath the Column of Justice in the Piazza di Santa Trinita. I'm pretty sure the man was looking at the Basilica di Santa Trinita.

Watch out for fast bikes in Florence.
I've been hit by a bike twice, both in Florence. One time was my fault, and the other was the bike rider's fault. Both times were painful, but thankfully no lasting damage.

La Gazza Ladra (The Thieving Magpie in English) is a pretty cool name for a jewelry store. The woman in front of the shop was either smoking a cigarette or blowing me a kiss.😀
La gazza ladra is also an opera semiseria by Gioachino Rossini.

My back was turned but I could hear a bike coming my way, so I spun around and snapped a quick picture as he zipped by. That's what I'd call a lucky shot. 😀�?

It's been a month since the last Covid update for my city.
Newport Beach population 86,000:
As of May 28, 2021, there are less than 50 active cases but there were 2 deaths since the last update. (total deaths 77) Hopefully the cases will go to zero soon.
I'm glad to see other towns and cities are opening up!

This arch can be found in The Piazza della Repubblica in Florence, Italy. I think this was reflected in a clothing store window. Looks like they had a clothesline display at the time.
