This past week has just been blah.. the weather is getting colder.. M has been working a lot.. and D and I are still coughing.. My in laws who live with us semi permanently are going for a visit back home (Pakistan). They have a daughter there.. three grand kids and a whole lotta family and friends.. so we have been busy with last minute shopping, packing, weighing.. M and I are anxiously waiting for Thanksgiving break.. not because we have any plans.. we are looking forward to the no plans.. we want to be boring homebodies.. watch some movies with the kids.. play some board games.. we really love our board games and do a whole lotta nothing. I recently had the pleasure of discovering the lovely shop Lylicraft and her pretty pillows and wallets. Lyli grew up with her grandmother watching her sew and learned to sew from her at a very young age. Lyli uses beautiful Malaysian fabrics to create her pillows, wallets and cosmetic bags. Hello February.. let's hope a great deal better than January. M and I celebrate birthdays; and with Valentine's Day, Super Bowl the Oscars and a great 29 days.. February really is quite a month. We have been having a though last week.. M's grand father passed away over the weekend. We was very sick for a few weeks so M's parent's decided to head back home and be with him in his final moments.. thankfully they made it back just in time. My brother and sister in law also left and our family went from eight to four. So while I attempted to create a new routine, M tried to grieve with his family continents away and that is just some of what has been going on... hope to fill you in on more soon, including some more renovation news.. :) In the mean time.. how about some cool socks to keep our feet nice and warm this winter? We have been having some crazy weekends.. day trips and birthday party preperations.. so much to share with you but before I get into all that.. I was recently introduced to a new subscription box called Sockwork: Socks With a Purpose.. it is the brainchild of Mario and Tina who both hold our veteran's very close to their hearts and decided to create a business that not only kept your feet looking good and warm but also helped the many veteran charities out there.
