For us it's exactly as we sing about it in the old songs... the snow has been falling since last night and has bathed everything in the most beautiful white.
Happy holidays to all my dear blog friends near and far. With a big hug and joy in my heart, I greet you all. Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it and a happy new year to everyone.

Stjerner glitrer og lys skinner
What a lovely time
On my last walk I leisurely collected this wonderful dried bouquet... and there were also relaxed trips to one or two Christmas markets... and when the third light comes on, we go to the medieval market at Königstein Fortress/ together with friends. Saxon Switzerland/Germany. There was already a blog post about it last year.
For anyone who likes it, here are my photos of me relaxing and enjoying... it's a wonderful time... thanks.
...and I'm currently reading “A Whole Life” by Robert Seethaler. The book was made into a film and is currently showing in art theaters.
yes... the forest is almost my best friend. Every now and then a mulled wine with my husband... here rose from the winemaker in Meißen.
...here we had coffee and cake in Zinzendorf Castle, it is a small castle where events such as concerts, readings and exhibitions take place regularly. In 1998, an association with members from Germany, Switzerland and the USA was founded to restore and manage the castle.
It is located in Berthelsdorf, a district of Herrnhut, where the first poinsettias were made over 160 years ago...
today there is a factory that still makes them by hand and sends them all over the world.
I always enjoy looking at the different stars in the factory...
Yes, and then, I made this hat for when I go feed the birds in the rain... it's 6 to 8 degrees plus now... what do you think, will you have a white Christmas?
I hope it happens again this winter.
Warm greetings and lots of Advent joy to everyone near and far.

Advent calendar, starry light and
mulled wine
I'm in a wonderful mood for the Advent season, firstly the snow came on time, secondly we had a wonderful family celebration and thirdly I've already visited a few Christmas markets. I like the old markets with historical stalls and crafts... here are photos for you...
I am a person who embraces Christmas and allows myself to be embraced.
Christmas is the festival of joy, charity, family and security.
The time leading up to Christmas is a time for reflection and a time to switch back... the quietest time of the year.
