As most of you know I have been down again with a body that doesn't seem to want to cooperate. So no new art today.

I did pull up some older art that you may remember. 

This first one is a carved glass beaded necklace I made some 17 years ago. It was published and displayed in 3 countries. For those of you who don't know, I was a bead artist for some 50 years, published over 400 times and have taught classes in the US and 3 other countries. Those were good days. So back to the necklace. My friend Sandy models it.

Weird Art Wednesday

 Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Weird Art Wednesday.

First I want to say I have calmed down from my yesterday's post. Maybe because I got a good nights sleep with minimal chest pain.

Thank you to all that gave me encouragement. It means more than you know.

T Stands for OMFG!!!!

 Hi Everyone!

I am so upset with my body I want to scream. Last Wednesday I saw my PC. We had a great visit and I seemed to be pretty healthy for me. She asked if I wanted to come back in 3 or 6 months. I said, "6 months, I feel pretty good." On Friday I was speaking to my Son on the phone and had to cut it short. I told him I was having some kind of weird heart burn. Haaa if only. I couldn't get rid of this pain on the left side of my chest. I do mean effin pain. I did some research and felt sure it is pleurisy. I emailed my PC on Sunday and she got me in to see her today, Monday. She did all kinds of tests in including RSV and Covid. Both negative. She did an ekg which looks like my last one. So that's fine. I can't remember the other things she did, I was there 3 hours. She did say that is was pleurisy. She told me to take some prednisone, Ibuprofen, and a muscle relaxer at night to help me sleep. Then she sent me across the road for a chest ex ray and tomorrow some blood work. I know that some of you, like me, can't believe all the medical BS I have been through this year. All due to lupus. 

Seriously the worst year of my life. 

If you don't know, pleurisy pain is so effin bad. So what is pleurisy? Pleurisy occurs when the pleural lining — two large, thin layers of tissue that separate your lungs from your chest wall — becomes inflamed, causing chest pain. Seriously, child birth was easier than this.

Ohhh... and if the medication doesn't work I get to go through Pleural effusion. Yeah a needle placed in my lung to remove the fluid. Like I said OMFG!!!!

 

 

So, not doing well, not having fun, and wish this year would get over with. 

I'm really sorry for this creepy post.

Give me a beer please. Ohhh can't have alcohol with pleurisy.

This week I had 2 doctors apt and some bloodwork done. So not much time for art. Even without the apts I have lost my mojo with this foot. Everything seems to take ten times the energy to do anything. Sigghhh..

I did get this started,  it needs a lot more work but at least it is started.
