AWWW MONDAY ~ THE MONTAGE

So, mine Mommy was busy at her laptop, said she was making a Christmas montage of me.  Once done, I took a look at it, meowing "awww, that's quite nice ... but seriously, it's not really me ...".  So, she agreed I could have a turn at making my own.  After all, having been in kittengarten for nearly a year now (well at least a semester), I am taking some art and computer classes and even though I've no thumbs I do try.  

I might put a few finishing touches on my montage later today before giving to my teacher later this week.  Right now though, wondering if I might ask your opinion?  Both are below.  Mine Mommy's is A (the first one) and mine is B (the second one).  Which one do you think really tells the story of me, June, the polka dot kitty? Will my teacher give me a good grade?

SPARKLE-and-SHINE Caturday Art

I really didn't want a costume.  I really didn't want another Santy hat.  And no red boots on my paws, please.  I didn't want to carry a bag of toys alongside me.  But I had received an invitation to the Pet Party and Parade in our building ~ this evening ~ a lively gathering of all the kits and pups who live here, and what fun it might be to join them all.  

Some punch (only lightly spiked of course, nip for we kitties ~ I'm not sure what gets the puppers going) ... treats and chew bones on each table (or maybe on the floor?).  Surely there will be paw-stomping music and lots of tails raised and wagging.  

A few slobbery kisses, at least between those familiar to one another.  Oh yeah.  I'm looking at you, you 9th floor tuxie 💙!

So.  Mine Mommy splurged at the spa nearby for a special sparkle-and-shine makeup treatment, subtle, understated, elegant I think.  

MY HOLIDAY ALBUM, The Second Year, by June

Last Friday, I shared with you the holiday pages from "the first year, 2020" of my special photo album.  

Today, I open it up to pages from the year 2021.

That was the year I became official ~ officially the "polka dot kitty".

Yes, like it or not, red-and-white stripes [mine Mommy's thing] were not for me.

It's blue for me, and preferably blue with white dots.  

Here, there, everywhere please. So it was, so it shall be!

today is also National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day.

Mine Mommy could not resist, and of course, went over the top,

(or better said ... went to the very bottom ...)

by putting me in these totally dreadful sox as well.
