In honor of the recent American Independence Day/4th of July, I present the stars and stripes. Here we have the Jasper County Court House and a small flag reflected in a window with a large flag.

Cool Springs Station (Weekend Reflections # 400)

BERJAYA
Oatman, Arizona

This is a reflection of a desert mountain in a restroom mirror.  The W/C was inside but the place to wash your hands was outside which made for much nicer views. :-)

Happy Reflecting!

Addicted to Route 66 (Weekend Reflections # 140)

BERJAYA
Williams, Arizona (Route 66)

There is a lot of history and interesting things to see on Route 66. I'm sure it has changed quite a bit from its glory days, but I have a good imagination, so I was able to go back in time and really enjoy the ride.
I took this photo in Williams, Arizona. I was surprised by the amount of French tourists. I finally spoke to one of them. He was from Paris and he told me that Route 66 is "mythique" to the French. Thankfully, most of the conversation was in English because my French is very limited. :0)
