Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (Weekend Reflections # 169)

BERJAYA
Fort Worth, Texas (Fort Worth Opera House aka Bass Performance Hall)

This is a reflection of a 48 ft. (almost 15 meters) angel. It's one of two on the side of the opera house in Fort Worth. I captured the reflection in the window of the Barnes and Noble bookstore across the street.
NF Inspiring Photography/Catching the light

"Glory to the newborn King!

Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful, all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With the angelic host proclaim:
"Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Christ by highest heav'n adored
Christ the everlasting Lord!
Late in time behold Him come
Offspring of a Virgin's womb
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Ris'n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"

  Merry Christmas!

The Longhorn Saloon (Weekend Reflections # 155)

BERJAYA
Fort Worth, Texas

This is a sign that is shaped like a bull reflected in the window of a saloon. I didn't go in but I can imagine the sounds of spurs on a wooden floor, whiskey-drinking cowboys and bar fights. I've probably watched too many old movies, but I'm okay with that. :)
In case you're wondering what's on the right side of the photo, there's a cowboy painted on the window. It looks like the bull reflection is jumping over the cowboy's eye.

Have a great weekend!
