Happy Mother's Day!
Behold the essence of motherhood!
The kid may think he's the star of this video,
but the real star is good ol' MOM --
cool, calm, collected, unperturbed
by the chaos and craziness around her.
And a special nod to Grandma's one-shot appearance too.
If you can't get enough of Colin O'Leary's creative-on-a-budget lip sync extravaganzas, there are three more for your viewing pleasure: click here, here (all-Lady-Gaga), and his latest one here. I think all of them are a lot of fun!

Happy Mother's Day!
Special wishes being sent today to all you Moms out there! You're in an exclusive club!
Here's the fairytale every Mom wants to read . . . .
Remember the days when you had privacy and time to yourself?
Kids can be, well, a little demanding sometimes . . . .
But you know what Hillary Clinton said! "It takes a village . . . ."
I hope you all get lovely gifts for Mother's Day! Especially from your adult children!
And just remember . . . despite everything, YOU DONE GOOD, MOM!

Happy Mothers Day!
Motherhood is a messy and demanding job.
There's often the whole pain-of-giving-birth thing --
Moms all learn to perfect the art of teaching little ones how to behave, often just simply using "The Look" --
Will the long, hectic, chaotic days never end?
And then, after all that, Moms have to endure the whiny teenage years --
Just to keep the human race going!
So today, let's raise a cheer for Moms everywhere!

For Mother's Day: "The Lanyard"
One of my favourite contemporary poets is Billy Collins, Poet Laureate of the United States from 2001-2003. His poetry is always simple, direct and often very funny. Yet he also captures profound truths about human nature and life.
His poem "The Lanyard" is perfect for Mother's Day. In this video, following a very short voice-over intro by Garrison Keillor, Billy Collins reads his poem aloud at a poetry festival.
Happy Mother's Day to all Moms everywhere!

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
