I made this card for a new neighbor that moved in across the street from me. She has the prettiest yard in the neighborhood. She obviously likes to garden (unlike me)
I know that not everyone likes to mail cards these days. Can't blame them with the high cost of postage. But I decided to make her a box of my home made cards to welcome her to the neighbor hood. I told her if she didn't send cards she could always gift them to someone else.
She seemed to love her cards. To my surprise about a week later I received an invitation from her to come to her house for a tea party for me and another friend in my neighborhood. What a nice time we had. She had the most delicious treats for us, and made us really feel welcome.
Since This happened a few months ago and I may have previously posted some of the cards I gave her... I may have mentioned this before. Now I am working on trying to get a neighborhood tea party together to thank her.
Thanks for stopping by today...
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
Blessings, Jill
