A short visit to Ferry Bridge on a very windy and cold day revealed some bird activity.

Visit to Lodmoor and Radipole Reserves Weymouth

The rainfall had eased somewhat over a couple of days so a recce visit to both Reserves was carried out.

Fortunately at both Reserves the flood water had receded and all the path ways were open.

If you study gulls as they rise from the water they tend to shake themselves vigorously which provides a rather unusual image.
