The rainfall had eased somewhat over a couple of days so a recce visit to both Reserves was carried out.
Fortunately at both Reserves the flood water had receded and all the path ways were open.

A flock of about 50 Golden Plover were settled on a stretch of land, but some distance from any viewing point.

Mostly Herring Gull were observed on the waterways.

If you study gulls as they rise from the water they tend to shake themselves vigorously which provides a rather unusual image.

Not much flora to be found now at this time.
