Sky Watch Friday

Easter Monday the weather was cold and clear in the morning,

but the day before it was snowing.

The clouds are reflected in the sea.

I always have my canon with me, incase of a good motive. On my way to school yesterday I thought the sky was beautiful, and I took a picture through the carwindow.

Sky Watch Friday

This photos is from Imsland, a little place down by the fjord,

about an hour driving from my place.

Me and my husband drove there one Sunday few weeks ago.


I love walking by the sea and always hope to find stones, and drivingwood from the sea.

Today I have to continue my writings in art history, and I think the weekend goes too:)

So then it doesent matter that it`s raining outside my window to day

Sky Watch Friday

Today my sky photos is from last spring/summer.

This first one is taken in Haugesund on the quay or the beach promenade.

The statue is Marilyn Monroe, and someone claim that her father was from Haugesund.

I dont know, but the statue is very nice.

The photo is taken last summer, one of the few days we had blue sky:)

This one is from my veranda one sunny day last spring.

I love it when the weather is good, and I can sit outdoor.

Blue sky, warm sun, a good book, and a cup of tea or coffee,

then Rasmus the cat, and I have a good time:)

Sky Watch Friday.

Last year I was living in Notodden in Telemark, when I went to school there.

This is in the east of Norway, and it took me 5 hour to drive over the mountain between east and vest of Norway every weekend, to come home to my family.

I took this picture once I had to take the "old road" outside the tunnel, because of roadwork inside the tunnel.

I drove my car over (usually I went by bus, 6 hours), and this is in May or early June I think. You can still see there is a bit of snow on the mountain top, and it was much more exiting driving there, instead of all the tunnels.

Sky Watch Friday

Todays photo is from April last year,and we was in a funeral in this old church.

The church lay on the country side, in a small place called Holdhus, in Fusa.

It was the most beautiful place you could think of,

and the people we was visiting was so lovely.

I hope I can take a trip back sometimes.

Today I want to show the wiew from our house.

We live in the westcoast of Norway, between Stavanger and Bergen,

at the and of a fjord.

The wiew is the same, but the colours are changing from day to day,

from morning to evening.

Last Friday I drove my son Kenneth to Haugesund, where he should have his drivinglesson.

While I was waiting in the car, I took this picture out of the window.

Can you imagine, it`s blue sky.

After my sons drivinglesson I drove him back to Westcon, where he has a position as an apprentice.

Then the sky began to be grey, and in the evening we had a new storm, again:)

I was visiting Jelsa summer 06 with my husband,

my sister Berit and her husband, by boat.

It was a varm and sunny day,

and we all took a bath in the sea/fjord.

Sky watch friday and exhibition

Så var det fredag igjen, og tid for himmelbilete. Denne veka har eg vore travelt oppteken med å klargjere alt til utstillingen in som opnar i kveld kl 19. Fotoapparatet ligger altid klart for kanskje å klare å knipse eit blinkskot. Denne veka har himmelen stort sett vore grå med alle sluser opne, men det har hendt at sola har brote igjennom skydekket.

Slik ser det ut då.

Eg synest det er så vakkert når det blir striper fra sola ned mot sjøen.

I have been busy this week to get ready with my artwork.My exhibition is opening this evening. But I have allways time to get a sky watch photo. The sky has been grey this week, but sometimes we could see a bit of the sun. I loves the sunstripes down to the sea, it makes everything beautiful.

Her er eit lite utval av det eg har på utstillinga " På eigne bein", som opnar kl 19 i kveld med gløgg, mozell og litt å bite i.

Her stiller eg ut 31 malerier, 11 vesker og masse små pyssel som smykker, julestrømper og hjerter. Det blir spanande å sjå korleis dette går.
Eg har ein god del sommarfuglar i magen akkurat nå, og er veldig spent på responsen til dei som kjem innom.

Sky Watch Friday!

Etter dagar med regn og ruskevær så var det godt å vakne opp til klar blå himmel i dag tidleg.

Det var nokre få skydottar på himmelen, men dei forsvann då sola kom fram.

Rasmus pusen nyter det fine været, og himmelen har ein nydeleg blåfarge i dag.

After days with rain it was a good feeling to see the blue sky early in the morningtime. Before the sun rise there vere some small cloudes, but now the sky is beautiful blue. Rasmus, my cat, is enjoying the nice weather outside.

I dag var det berre ei grå tåke ute så det vart ikkje noko himmelbilde fra i dag, men eg har bilder på lur i arkivet:o)

Bileta viser litt forskjellig himmel og vèr. Bakgrunnen er tatt ein morgon eg venta på ho som eg kjører i lag med til skulen. Det blåe er utsikta fra terrassen ein stille dag på fjorden, og det andre er tatt på same plassen sist veke då det kom litt snø.

Today the weather is grey here in the westcoast of Norway, so I had to find some picture in my arcives. The background picture I took early in the morning while I was waiting for the person I drive to school with.The blue one is the view from my terrace, and the next is the same, but from last veek when we got a little bit of snow.

Fredagshimmel

Når eg kjører til Stord der eg går på skule, må eg gjennom ein lang tunnel under sjøen og ei flott bru. Denne brua synest eg er eit mektig skue der ho tronar i eit flott landskap.

Bilda vart tatt i går når eg kjørte heim fra skulen, mot Sveio land.

Dette bildet er tatt mot vest og Bømlo, som også vart landfast med trekantsambandet.

Fredagskveld

Været vore så grått at det vart ikkje noko bilde av himmelen i dag. Så eg leita litt i bildene mine og fann dette som eg tok i vår.
