Along The River - Sandhill Cranes
Two weeks ago we had snow and temperatures in the minus 20's (-4F).
Yesterday, it was sunny and warm, a balmy 20 degrees. (that's 68F).
A perfect day for a trip to The Pinery Provincial Park.
Walking along the Ausable River Trail, we saw the usual Canada Geese starting to nest.
Just as I was telling Hubbers there probably wasn't much more to see, I spotted this pair across the river.
Sandhill Cranes
Yep, I was pretty excited, another "first" for me.

It's Spring You Say?
Shades of black, grey and brown . That's spring in my world today. It's minus 5 outside, with about 4 inches of snow on the ground.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
