I wish to apologize to anyone who may be having trouble making comments on my posts. I appreciate your visit so much, and wish I could read what you have to say, but something is going on with my computer, and until I can get the issue addressed, this may continue. Please keep visiting! Also, often I cannot make a comment on some posts I look at, particularly those who ask for me to show I am a guest. I have noticed sometimes someone can only comment in the "Reply" section of another comment...if that's all that works, then that's fine! Let's keep visiting no matter what happens, and know we are touching each other with our creativity and thoughts and images even when we can't get (or leave) feedback. God bless you my dear blogger friends!

With the Heart of a Child...
When we were a young couple with a little girl to raise, Disneyland and Disneyworld provided us with endless hours of great joy when we could not only watch the delight in our daughter's eyes and hear her laughter and squeals...but time when my husband and I could become kids again too. It is the place where you can once again have the heart of a child. I had dreamed of taking my daughter back, with her husband who had never been, and of course our grandson. At 9, this was the perfect time for him to go and have the time of his life. We all did! I apologize for posting more, but please bear with me. Here are more shots of that amazing four days....
This is Crush from Finding Nemo "talking" to our grandson and son-in-law! That was very cool!
Our grandson trying to remove Excaliber from the stone!
Splash Mountain is awesome...Song of the South motif throughout. Oh, and something else we loved was Soaring over California.
It's a Bug's Life!
Saving the Universe!
Monster's Inc. was great!
And Star Tours was excellent! My hubby was fortunate enough to have a pic made with a storm trooper. We also loved Indiana Jones!
The old favorites like the steamboat were just like we remembered!
I had sworn I would ride the Hollywood Tower of Terror, and true to my word, I did....BUT I was hanging on my husband's arm, terrified, and though I am glad I did it, I swear I will never do it again! It is really something! Incidently, our grandson couldn't handle this one either!
The kids enjoyed the pirate ship. As always, Pirates of the Caribbean was wonderful also! And we had a lovely dinner at the Blue Bayou restaurant, adjacent to Pirates of the Caribbean. Our server had been there 38 years...she had to have been there when we had been to Disneyland with our daughter! Of course we couldn't know if she had waited on us all those years ago.
A break for ice cream.
More fun on the boardwalk at Paradise Pier.
Our grandson LOVED the pool!
And here is a parting shot of Thunder Mountain at dusk. I have a dozen more pictures but I will give you all a rest! It was SO WONDERFUL!!!! I'm so thankful we were able to go.

A Trip To Disneyland!
I haven't been online in nearly a week, but there is a GOOD reason! Ever since our grandson was three I have been dying to take him to Disneyworld or Disneyland....he's the perfect age now and by God's grace we were given an opportunity to go! I am so thankful for the amazing trip! Our son-in-law had never been either, and it had been a long time since our daughter, my husband and I had gone as well. It was wonderful sharing it all with them. Here are some of the highlights!!!!
We drove to San Diego the first night and spent the night. The next morning we ate at an incredible restaurant called The Broken Yolk. Here is the grandson enjoying his hot chocolate but being a little shy for the camera.
The family all enjoying that Grizzly Rapids ride....on one run, my daughter and I got drenched!!!! But it was FUN!
Here is the boardwalk area of the California Adventure Park our hotel was adjacent to....
The happy little family our first night in the park, and a couple of views of the boardwalk fun....
We older folks rented scooters because all that walking was just torture! The scooters were an absolute lifesaver!
On to Disneyland the next day, and a leisurely ride through Storybook Land.

This was my huge (and delicious!) avacado omelet!
The lobby of the Grand Californian Hotel where we stayed! It was amazing! And all Arts & Craftsy, which is one of my loves....
Our grandson's FAVORITE ride was the Grizzy Rapids which he rode a total of 9 times! :-) Fortunately it was located just 100 yards from the entrance to the hotel!
