Early in September the Mersea Island Dredging competition for boats under sail takes place.
About ten crews turned out.
Just before the Dredging Match prize giving, which takes place on Packing Shed Island, this oyster shucking competition was held.

We found a cafe on Wilhelmstrase in Berlin where you could get a nice scone and coffee. You could also buy a nice steel vintage bike if you wanted.
