Even though I don't have an iPad I was delighted to hear that one of the best Xbox games (and was also on PC and Mac) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic arrived on the iPad. While the control was criticized , IGN did give it a good score. I urge all Star Wars fans who haven't played it yet to perhaps give this one a try. It's my personal favorite Star Wars game of all time.

My Favorite Memories: Apple Store
While I never really buy any Apple products, I have to admit that at least really like their store. It's got so many hands-on products, and more employees to count. This is my brother Zach and his then-girlfriend Maryanna playing with the iPhone 4S. This was about when it came out, and I admit that my iPod Touch is junk compared to it.

Fact of the Day: Apple Apple Computer
While the Macintosh wasn't the first computer churned out by Apple, it did become it's most popular PC model. Jef Raskin came up with the idea of a low-cost and easy-to-use computer and wanted it to be named after his favorite type of apple which was the McIntosh. It's a very soft and sweet apple which is very popular in Eastern Canada and New England. It's available most of the year in most American grocery stores.

Apple Recalls 1st Generation iPod Nanos
Did you buy one of these new iPod Nanos in 2005 or 2006? Well you might get a free replacement from Apple. Apparently the battery overheats way too intense and too quickly. So Apple is a little afraid that their Nanos are going to cause serious damage with their aging hardware. After sending them back to Apple, it's estimated it will take you six weeks to get a new one.

A Look Into Video Games: Apple Bandai Pippin
Yes Apple was into gaming (besides Macs) long before the iPhone. They teamed up with Bandai to make a console of their own.
The specs were pretty much like a Mac computer. It even ran on the same OS.
Controller was a little plain and goofy though. Also less than 20 games were made for the system. Yikes.....

My Day Yesterday: Birthday Parties and Dawn Treaders
My nephew had a birthday party yesterday. It was alright, kinda boring since there was so many people there. I found it funny that I got him Elmo, since a decent chunk of his presents were at least wrapped in Elmo stuff.

Steve Jobs The Movie?
Sony Pictures has now gained rights to a biography based on his life. They will hopefully tell his amazing life story in movie form sometime in 2012 or 2013.

RIP Steve Jobs, Dead at 56
Even though I've joked about him online and offline, I have to admit I do respect the man for what he's done. He co-founded Apple and was a big figure in the early days. I remember my Apple II.

Apple Unveils iPhone 5.....I mean iPhone 4S?
I guess it could have been a bigger announcement, but hey it's out and it's all shiny..ier. I'm not a smartphone user, but at least they're keeping up with the Droid phones. To sum it all up, pretty much everything is upgraded from the software, memory, RAM, and the camera. Not a huge difference, but that wont' stop some rabid fans from buying yet another iPhone they didn't need.

Apple To Announce New iPhone 5 Model on October 4th?
Apple is apparently holding a new press conference about iPhones though they don't say anything else about the matter. We can only assume that it's the new iPhone 5 that's being rumored. Honestly, I'm not going to buy it or the iPod Touch version either. I'm happy with my iPod Touch Generation 4.
Angry Birds Rio (iOS Version) Review
I was rather surprised with the quality of Angry Birds after buying the original game. So not too long ago I also picked up the sequel.
The game really isn't much different from the first game. You launch the little birds to shoot at obstacles in which you either try to destroy monkeys or free your bird friends. There's also plenty of stages to enjoy as well.
However the game isn't as fun as the original. Some of the levels seemed to be very cheaply put together. Granted since this a game that costs a dollar, I can overlook that. It will please almost any Angry Bird fan, and is so cheap that you will easily get your money's worth.
Score: 8 out of 10

Gamestop Now Buying Your iPod
So pretty much any Apple device made in the past few years is up for grabs. Enjoy trading in that $600 iPad for $100 or something credit. I'm just guessing there, but I bet I'm not far off.

Woman Buys Fake iPad, Turns Out To Be a Block of Wood
A woman in Spartanburg, SC was approached by two guys in a McDonald's parkinglot probably about to go buy a case of Chicken Mcnuggets, and they asked her if she wanted to buy an iPad or a laptop computer. The men said they buy them in bulk, so this lady haggles them down from about $300 to $180, and thinking she made a good buy came home to open her box to find a piece of wood. It was at least sorta made into an iPad.

My Day Yesterday
About as soon as I woke up this morning I get a call from my girlfriend. A company asked her to go get an interview and she got hired. She starts this morning actually. I wish her the best of luck.
I'm actually trying to get a new job myself. The job hunt starts again tomorrow.
Found out where the Halloween Express will be in my town this year. I can't wait until it opens.
Also played Tennis and Ice Hockey for NES, and reviewed them both.
Also found my lost pair of headphone buds. Now I can listen to my iPod Touch again.
Blockbuster By Mail also sent me Batman Arkham Asylum for 360 right before I went to work. I wish my house wasn't so dead last on the postal route :( Oh well....

Steve Jobs Resigns From Apple As CEO
He will stay with the company but will no longer be CEO.
That job will most likely transfer over to Tim Cook, a man Steve Jobs handpicked himself. Good luck to both of these men on their careers.

Fact of the Day: Macs Can Get Viruses Too
Everyone dreads that nasty computer virus. Many of us spending hundreds of dollars every couple of years to make sure our PCs are protected against them. If you ever used Windows, you probably have encountered problems with them at some point in time.
However Mac users usually spout "Macs never get viruses" which is a half-truth. A virus only attacks a certain operating system, so most virus makers usually make them for Windows for their near-monopoly of the computer market. However Mac sales are going up, so don't think your trendy new computer is going to be overlooked for long.
Apple Becomes #1 U.S. Company in Terms of Monetary Vaule
It's kinda hard to believe how far Apple has risen over the years. A decade and a half ago, they were almost a joke to the computer world. Loved by many, but mocked by so much more. Then they came out with the iPod, and then the madness started from there. Now they are worth more as a company than Big Oil's Exxon Mobil.
I only have one Apple product, and that's my iPod Touch. I only really have it because it's my mini-computer and I'm too poor for a smartphone. I actually went into an apple store the other day, and was amazed by how many people were shopping there. They don't really sell anything different from Best Buy, just a lot of Apple employees ready to make some money.

Played Magic Piano By Smule
Neat little app for my iPod Touch.
This piano shit is kinda dumb. More a virtual tinker toy than anything.
I do like this mode though. I just wish the iPod Touch's screen had more room. This seems perfect for an iPad though.
