Even though I'm a big fan of Marvel, I never really knew much about Thor until the 2011 movie came out. I liked it, though I though it was tad disappointing that Thor was powerless for a good bit of the story. Now the 2nd film in Phase Two of the Avengers films, takes place soon after Thor takes Loki back to Asgard to be judged by their father Odin.

Fact of the Day: Thor's Day
Thursday's name is derived from the Norse god of thunder Thor. In some other European languages Thursday is named after the Roman god Jupiter (who could be considered a thunder god) such as jueves in Spanish.

Thor: Tales of Asgard (2011 Film) Review
For such an old Marvel franchise, Thor has not gotten as much attention as other Marvel classics such as Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, and The Hulk. If it wasn't for the character's key role in the foundation of the Avengers team, I doubt any movie would of been made. But I liked the 2011 film Thor and his role in The Avengers film, so I decided to check out this prequel movie.

Watched Hulk Vs (2009 Film)
I stumbled upon Hulk Vs. with intrigue and caution. At first I thought it would be a film featuring a team of Wolverine and Thor vs The Hulk. Instead Thor and Wolverine feature their own stories against Bruce Banner's inner monster with a collection of two short films.

Watched Ultimate Avengers 2 (2006 Film)
Since I'm in a very Marvel mode lately, I've been watching a lot of stuff related to The Avengers team. And when I see stuff with the true superhero squad, I just have to give it a try. I liked the first Ultimate Avengers though it wasn't anything spectacular, so there was no reason not to give Ultimate Avengers 2 a try.
