Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4/XboxOne) Unveiled

BERJAYA
In rather surprising news, Batman: Arkham Knight was announced to be coming out later this year. The story is set after Arkham City with Scarecrow returning to Gotham to unite all of Batman's enemies against him. The really cool thing is that the Batmobile will now be drive-able!

Superman: Unbound (2013 Film) Review

BERJAYA
Like I had mentioned many times before, DC has done an amazing job in the past couple of years with their original animated films. I've seen most of them, but Superman: Unbound is fairly recent. Unlike other Superman stories featuring Lex Luthor or General Zod, this one has the rather lesser-known villain Brainiac.

Justice League: The New Frontier (2008 Film) Review

BERJAYA
Like many of you know, I'm a big fan of comic book heroes. DC has made a lot of great animated films in the past couple of years, and it's taken me quite some time to enjoy them all. While some were a bit disappointing, many of the more recent ones could rival their silver-screen counterparts. Justice League: The New Frontier was the first in the series to make a tale about DC's greatest team of heroes.

Green Lantern (2011 Film) Review

BERJAYA
Outside of Batman and Superman, my favorite lesser-known superhero of the Justice League had always been the Green Lantern. However back in 2011 I didn't pay much attention to the Green Lantern film when it arrived in theaters. I later heard it wasn't that great, but I thought I would eventually give it a try.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013 Film) Review

BERJAYA
Of all my favorite super-heroes, DC's The Flash is far from the top. I was a bit disappointed to learn that the new animated movie had him as the central character. Then I learned it's based on a popular comic book story-line that affected nearly all the people in the DC universe.

Ben Affleck is the New Batman

BERJAYA
Since the new Batman/Superman film was announced, many wondered who would play the Dark Knight as Christian Bale said he wouldn't return after Dark Knight Rises. Apparently the role is now for Ben Affleck, though this isn't the first time he's played a super-hero. Back in 2003 he played the title role in Marvel's Daredevil film. Though many aren't sure of how well he'll do as Batman. Though I'd like to remind everyone of the skepticism they had when they heard that Heath Ledger was playing the Joker in The Dark Knight.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000 Film) Review

BERJAYA
I originally didn't watch Batman Beyond when it first premiered over a decade ago. But I did enjoy watching the first season of it very recently. Though many of the original villains were very bland, and many of Batman's old enemies didn't show up in the future. Though the reason I wanted to watch The Return of the Joker was for the futuristic revival of Batman's greatest nemesis.

Batman: Gotham Knight (2008 Film) Review

BERJAYA
As many of you know I'm a big Batman fan. So I've been meaning to catch up on many of the Dark Knight's animated movies. I overlooked Batman: Gotham Knight as it's a collection of six (related) short-stories set between Batman Begins and Dark Knight. They also worked with a Japanese studio to give the animation an anime-inspired look.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (2009 Film) Review

BERJAYA
After watching Man of Steel, I was still in a mood for more DC comics movies and I decided to return to their (usually excellent) animated tales. Like most of its sister films Superman/Batman Public Enemies is based on a particular comic book story-line.

Superman Returns (2006 Film) Review

BERJAYA
With Man of Steel already in theaters, I've been trying to watch all the Superman films except Superman III and Superman IV since they're regarded as terrible movies. Another reason is that Superman Returns is a sequel to the original films that ignores any events in the third and fourth movies.

Injustice: Gods Among Us (360) Review

BERJAYA
Last year I didn't pay much attention to Injustice: Gods Among Us as when I heard the title I didn't realize this one was based on DC comic's Justice League heroes and their super-villains. I also wasn't shocked to learn that the people behind the Mortal Kombat games were behind Injustice. They had made Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe a few years ago, but this time they focus only on Superman and his friends.

Supergirl (1984 Film) Review

BERJAYA
With the new Man of Steel movie coming to theaters soon, I thought I watch the old Superman films. While the first two Superman films are cherished and well remembered, I was shocked to learn that his cousin Kara Zor-El also got a movie of her own. And I learned that was a big red flag.

Superman II (1980 Film) Review

BERJAYA
Since the new Man of Steel film is coming out soon, I been meaning to check out the previous Superman films. I liked the original Superman film, and I heard Superman II was even better.

Batman Beyond Season 1 Review

BERJAYA
As many of you know, I'm a big fan of Batman. Back in 1999 after the success of the classic Batman cartoons came to an end, a new show was to become it's successor. Set in the future where Bruce Wayne is far too old to be Batman anymore. I had long heard of it and had seen clips from years past, but I decided to give the series a shot.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010 Film) Review

BERJAYA
As many of you know that I've lately been catching up on a lot of superhero films and TV shows I've been missing out on over the years. When I heard of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, I was very excited as it shows the alternate universes that stayed mostly exclusive to the comic books story-lines. This one is about a interaction between two Earths where one Earth is completely backwards in almost every way.

A Look Into Video Games: Batman Begins

BERJAYA
Back in 2005, the Dark Knight trilogy of Batman films began. Like most big movies at the time, there had to be a video game adaptation. Batman Begins the video game came out the same year, and it wasn't as horrible as you'd expect.

A Look Into Video Games: Batman: Dark Tomorrow

BERJAYA
Before the awesome Arkham games, Batman had a less than stellar track-record with his video games. Usually better than his super-pal Clark Kent, but not by much. Batman: Dark Tomorrow was promised to be an awesome game with stellar graphics, fantastic game-play, and an incredible story but the final result was the complete opposite.

A Look Into Video Games: Batman: Vengeance

BERJAYA
With the success of the various animated series based on Batman in the 1990s inspired a few video games. One of the most notable (based on The New Batman Adventures) was Batman: Vengeance which was an action game featuring Gotham's greatest hero.

A Look Into Video Games: Batman: Gotham City Racer (PS1)

BERJAYA
In the late 90s and early 2000s it wasn't uncommon for video games to try to compete with the Mario Kart series. I don't know if that was the reason for Batman: Gotham City Racer, but it seems likely. I guess Ubisoft should of mention that the game isn't really a racing game.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 (2013 Film) Review

BERJAYA
As a huge Batman fan, I was excited to see the first part of The Dark Knight Returns which was based on Frank Miller's comic. I loved it so I made sure I saw the final half as soon as possible.
