Captain Falcon was an obvious character to appear the next Super Smash Bros as he was one of the original fighters, and his Falcon Punch is so iconic to the series. But Nintendo also added more characters from Fire Emblem.

Pac-Man Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. IV
Namco's Pac-Man will now be appearing in the newest Super Smash Bros. game for both WiiU and 3DS. He joins other 3rd party characters like Sonic and MegaMan to the roster. I honestly think he will be a great character in the game.

Pokemon X/Y (3DS) Review
Back in the late 90's, Pokemon Red/Blue were one of the most popular games out there. All of us were wishing they made a Pokemon game for N64 as the rather basic 2D graphics (with no color either) were a little lame. They had Pokemon Stadium but it just wasn't the same, and the DS games sadly looked more like GBA than N64. Now with X/Y, the series is finally in real 3D.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS) Review
The original New Super Mario Bros. was a good game for the original DS. Though it was a little plain and ridiculously easy. New Super Mario Bros. Wii was much better with challenging levels and plenty of innovative additions. As a Mario fan playing this was inevitable.

Little Mac Confirmed for Super Smash Bros. IV
Little Mac is the star of the Punchout series, and I'm really glad he'll be joining the cast of the newest Super Smash Bros. game. His appearance in the 3DS version looks very cool and artistic.

Lucario Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. IV
Lucario was in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and I'm not terribly surprised to see him show up in the sequel. He replaced Mewtwo from Melee, but I hear it's very popular in Japan similar to Pikachu's popularity. While I miss Mewtwo, Lucario was a decent character.

King Dedede Confirmed For Super Smash Bros IV (WiiU/3DS)
While I'm not surprised since he was in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but Kirby's nemesis is set to be in the fourth Super Smash Bros. game. While he was never my favorite, I did respect that he was one of the few characters to play almost exactly how he is in his series. I'm glad to see him return.

Princess Zelda Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. 4 (3DS/WiiU)
While it's no real surprise that one of Nintendo's most famous princesses would be yet again in the newest Super Smash Bros. game, it's interesting to see her appearance in the fourth. She's is yet again based on her appearance in Twilight Princess. Though it seems that is may be likely that she won't be able to turn into her Sheik persona. A move that may be unpopular for some, but I don't think I'll mind.

Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS) Review
I never played the original Kid Icarus on NES, but I do know of it's notable legacy. I did play the sequel on the Nintendo Gameboy called Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters and was rather unimpressed. Like many others, I did like the "new" Pit (the hero of Kid Icarus) in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii. I guess it's no wonder that Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai was asked to make a sequel for the modern generation of video games.

Sonic Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. IV
With the newest Super Smash Bros. game coming up for WiiU (and 3DS), we've all been wondering who will show up. And Sonic will return after his first appearance in Brawl on Wii. So yes Mario and Sonic matches can still happen. I hope that maybe Tails or Knuckles may join the team as well.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) Review
I was a huge fan of the original Animal Crossing on Gamecube. I remember seeing it for the first time as a Japanese-only N64 game called Animal Forest. They gave it a chance in America, and it did very well. I was a bit disappointed in Animal Crossing: Wild World so I ignored the Wii Animal Crossing called City Folk. It's been almost 8 years since the DS game, so New Leaf really appealed to me.

Nintendo Unveils the Nintendo 2DS
I had heard speculation that Nintendo would make a 3DS handheld without the 3D, but here it is the properly named 2DS. It plays all 3DS games just without the option for the 3D view. It also has a flat design in contrast to the traditional clam-shell designs since the original DS. The less expensive 2DS will make a splash in North America on October 12th of this year, the same day as the new Pokemon Y and X.

Luigi Confirmed For Super Smash Bros. 4 (WiiU/3DS)
Mario's brother Luigi is now officially joining the ranks of the next Super Smash Bros. game, but is anyone surprised? He's been in every game since the original, and he's too popular for Nintendo to ignore.

Super Smash Bros. (3DS and WiiU) Revealed
With E3 here, I was somewhat expecting Super Smash Bros for WiiU and 3DS to be shown. I was delighted to see the news as I soon as I woke up.

Super Mario 3D Land (3DS) Review
When it comes to video games, very few platformers can rival Mario. I had been jumping on goombas and using warp pipes since I was 2 on the NES. Now almost 23 years later, I'm still enjoying adventures starring Nintendo's favorite plumber. Super Mario 3D Land is the first Mario game to hit the handheld, and I couldn't resist eventually getting it.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons & Oracle of Ages Now on 3DS
Back in 2001, Nintendo released one of the greatest pairs of games in it's history. Usually Zelda fans have to wait at least two years for a new adventure. But luckily we got not 1 but 2 Zelda games on the same day. Once both games were finished, they could link up for one last adventure to finish the plot. Now both are available on the 3DS' Virtual Console.

Things I Hate: Wario Land II (GBC)
I had the original Wario Land as a child and it was one of my favorite games on the Nintendo Game Boy. I had defeated the final boss and found all secrets in the game. I actually never had a Game Boy Color so I had to miss out on Wario Land II, though I later learned you could play it on the older systems like Pokemon Gold and Silver just without color. I did get Wario Land 2 via the 3DS' Virtual Console and I didn't dig this sequel.

My Super Mario 3D Land (3DS) Impressions
As many of you know, Mario is one of my favorite video game series ever. Since the original Super Mario Bros. I've been jumping over cliffs and defeating Bowser more times than you can count. I got a 3DS not terribly long ago, and outside Mario Kart 7 and a few Virtual Console games I don't have much for it. So I decided to get Super Mario 3D Land which was Mario's first adventure for the handheld.

Nintendo Unveils The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 (3DS)
Even though it's a normal Wednesday (big news is usually saved for an event like E3), Nintendo showed off a new trailer for a brand new Zelda game for 3DS. And yes it is a sequel to the SNES classic A Link to the Past.

Pac-Man (Game Boy) Review
For many years I've been a fan of the Pac-Man series though sometimes I wonder why I bother. I got a 3DS a few months ago and I have been getting old Game Boy games that I missed from ages ago on it's Virtual Console. I noticed Pac-Man was available, and even though I wasn't expecting much I was curious to see how awful or surprising this version was. I remember loathing the NES Pac-Man.
