JUST PLAYING AROUND

I have had lots of time on my hands lately

which means hanging out on the computer longer.

had a free, limited time offer so I thought I would take advantage of it.

                I used to use them all the time when they were free..

            My camera has been a bit lazy....not much going on.

                   So, I thought I would visit some old favorites.

DEAR DEER

This is the time of year when natures babies are born.

We sure have our share..

Not so easy...

"Has anyone seen my Mom??"

We have three of these that I know of.

They have been seen together with their Mom.

She leaves them for the day..

These are about a month old and have no scent as yet.

I was concerned about our new fox kits and their parents

going after them.

Our squirrel population is down as are our bunnies.

Someone said that a fox was approaching them

 and the Mom came out of nowhere and chased him off.

This guy was lying in my back yard for several hours.

From time to time he would stand and nibble on the grass.

Does he look like he may grow some horns??

It was not until I took Mollie out

 that I realized that there were two of them out there.

The second one was blocked from my view by my cherry tree.

I guess I went a little crazy with the pictures.

It's not every day one gets this opportunity.

DAYS GONE BY

I was going through some old pictures the other day.

This is me many years ago at my Grandparents house.

That car is probably a Packard...1940's ??

This is one of my favorite pictures..

One of my grandmothers used to say that I pouted all the time.

I have permanent frown lines between my eyes now.

I call them my thinking lines...

My sister and me..

We were usually dressed alike and often in matching pinafores.

This was taken at my other grandparents house.

That hedge was always the background...still there.

Same hedge....

This picture was taken in 1951 (ages 8-10).

Most of our teen age years' pictures were slides

 which were thrown away.

In our driveway...The house on the right is gone.

Late 50's Age 16-17

This corner cabinet is in my living room now..

I refinished it years ago and the inside is now a grey blue.

This was in the early 60's...

My little sister is a lot taller than I am..maybe it's the shoes?

There is a bigger difference now..I've shrunk!!
