Christopher Spackman: +John Duffey Brexitards. Leaving is idiotic. Empire. Blue passports. Johnny foreigners.

A quick look through your posts you are proud to show your polling card. Your post says that you will be exercising your democratic right to vote.

In another you claim that a pub chain is advocating for its 'scum bag clients' to vote leave. Like it or not this is there democratic right, the same one you are proud to have.

On a suggestion that the press and others are negative about the UK, its people and concentrate more on negative reports than the good you......carry the torch for them.

The head of Rolls Royce, Tortsen Müller-Ötvös (who is German) has more faith in British engineers than the British press do. Mercedes has invested in its UK based Formula 1 engine plant. It says "the UK remains a global centre of competence for the motorsport industry". The Centre for Economics and Business Research has said it was wrong when it claimed that the economy would slow down after the Brexit vote.

If you dig a little deeper things aren't as bad as some would have you believe. Sure Davies and others aren't doing a great job but then the pro EU folk wouldn't be happy with anyone doing the negotiations.

You stick to the echo chamber that +The Economisthas become and take on more of the usual nonsense floating around the Guardian and others. I'll leave you to it, I won't hear your echos but I won't block you from shouting.

Enjoy the rest of your Christmas break. I hope 2018 injects a little happiness for you.

That doesn't mean for a second that I should agree with them.

And I don't for a second believe that we should "do down" the British or the UK economy. However, I believe that we have hamstrung ourselves from achieving the best by voting to leave the biggest trading bloc in the world for the sake of having blue passports that we could have anyway.

Christopher Spackman: +John Duffey Blue passports is another whipped up story by the press on both sides to suit their readership. I personally don't give a shit what colour my passport is. James Khan posted on Twitter that changing the colour would cost £500m. Of course that's not true, the cycle to change them is 2019 so it was decided to change the colour. His claim was retweeted 30,000 times. His pathetic retraction 600 odd.

You're absolutely right that you shouldn't have to agree with others on a vote but at the same time you shouldn't chastise them for voting different to you.

I don't believe that we will be hamstrung. If we have the right people making the charge it'll be of huge benefit. To do that business needs to be doing the charge and not political figures, no matter their flag. In the meantime however it would be nice to see the press stop all the negative and bad press surrounding Brexit. That's not to say it's all good but it is simply not as bad as some want it to be or report it to be.

Every day I see massive investment and job creation in the UK from established UK firms, small firms expansion and outside investment from many an EU nation and further afield.

The latest revision has put the UK joint 1st in the G7 for 2016. We're expected to overtake France and The Centre for Economics and Business Research has said it got the dire economic outlook wrong.

I was torn at the vote. Even at the voting booth I was hesitant.
