What's peculiar is that it was released the same year as the Pixar movie that felt the most like traditional Disney fare.

And Paperman is an incredible short. That's what old school Disney animation done in a modern way should look like

I'm 20 minutes into The Girl and while it isn't blowing my socks off, Toby Jones' Hitchcock voice is spot on.
