coming back around

So alot has happened since i last posted. I got pregnant and had a bouncing baby boy. He is three months old and wonderful.

Ted Nugent and Life lessons

Watching Anthony Bourdain and Ted Nugent interact has got me thinking . Animal Rights. I am a a vegetarian and have been for three years now. I did fall off the wagon once in those three years eating a piece of tuna and then feeling sad for a month and kind of still today. Some people say that Animals are here for us to eat. Some say that Animals don't have any feelings(emotions) or that they are insignificant. I have always felt that they are not here for us to eat but for us to learn how to get along with souls that may or may not be "less " than us. If that is the case most of the world has failed that test by eating them . I have been feeling down lately and that always makes me wonder. I wonder if i am wrong or right? I reconsider my lifestyle for a minute but i know that if i ate meat i would never feel good about it. I would be so disappointed and angry with myself. I just wonder how everyone else eats meat and doesn't get that sinking feeling like they are terrible people that just took a life for their own selfish unnecessary reason. People can live without eating meat and Americans especially are guilty of overindulging in Meat among other things that are proven to be unhealthy. Meat cause alot of health problems. High cholesterol,Impotence and its very fattening. I just feel like meat is in the same category as say heroin or any other drug. I guess it can be seen as more like cigarettes or Alcohol. Just as the Media and powers at be told us how great smoking was way back in the day . So do they tell us how great meat is. I have a hard time believing people that think meat is the best thing for you are not brainwashed by "the man". The thought of meat makes me sad and feel gross to entertain the idea of eating it. I almost have a Pavlov's dog reaction to it.

Add and Lack of interest

I have a tendency to get excited about random things but never follow through. I tend to spend alot of time complaining about how i never have fun or hobbies. I have to just focus and stop bitching. I enjoy this blog and i havent been keeping up with it. Thats the first thing i have to change. I also have to clean my apartment but small victories. Lmao! My laptop doesnt work and i am not sure if they will fix it.

Celebrities dropping like flies!

Gary Coldman,Dennis Hopper,Brittany Murphy,Dio,The drummer from Slipnot and Now John Mayer is ill? What the hell is going on? Dio died of cancer,as did Hopper.John Mayer had to cancel shows due to "illness". Murphy died after suffering from flu like symptoms, as did her husband and now John Mayer is ill? Everyone i work with in the deli have been getting some kind of chest cold and now im starting to wonder if the government created this crazy flu that is killing people with crappy immune systems? Is this some kind of virus to wipe us all or most of us out? Or is it the Drug companies producing meds that contract and cause horrible effects? Are we just in a vicious cycle of pills that need pills that need pills? Are we making ourselfs sick by killing our immune systems with these antibiotics that are killing our good bacteria? These illness have been around forever but we just now started treating the simple things with complicated medicine? The Government has not been above getting the public sick on purpose but what is going on right now?

I adore Lady Gaga. Horror and Theatrics have always been an obsession of mine and Artists such as Alice Cooper,Gwar and Rob Zombie(just to name a few) have fulfilled that obsession. Ive always wished that there was a female in this genre.
There was the wonderful Wendy O. Williams of the Plasmatics, but she is no longer with us and we only have the memories. Now i might be missing someone who was already there but I think that Lady Gaga could not have arrived at a better time. She has the theatrics and that secret ingredient that some songs have that just seems to make you feel great, pumping and captivating lyrics that just beg you to sing along. People have tried to compare Lady Gaga to Madonna. I think that is so ridiculous considering Madonna is boring as shit. I dont hate Madonna and in the right mood i kinda like her. I just really have a hard time trying to put them in the same catagory.

Geek or Not?

I had a discussion recently about what is nerdy and what is not.
Nerd is a term, often bearing a derogatory connotation or stereotype, that refers to a person who passionately pursues intellectual activities, technical or scientific endeavours, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests that are unusual for one's age, rather than engaging in more social or popular activities. The nerd may be awkward, shy and unattractive.[1] Therefore, a nerd is often excluded from physical activity and considered a loner by peers, or will tend to associate with like-minded people.

Feeling bumed

I have to work tonight all by myself . I am not excited about this . I hope they arent expecting me to get every little thing done. I am going to try and just not stress out about it! I have an interview tomorrow morning at 11 am at wheatsville. Hopefully i get that job so i can quit this one and actually feel good about my job.
