Today’s picture is the largest bird native to Australia and the second-largest extant bird in height reaching up to 2 metres in height with only the Ostrich taller.

How is this for a million dollar view? I took this shot from a picnic table at Coles Bay one beautiful morning just after 7am before headed into the Freycinet National Park to climb Mt Amos. Another time from just about the identical spot i watched wild Dolphins play in the bay.
