Something I would like to do with this site, is try in some small way to promote artists I like that could use any and all the help in the exposure area they can get.
On the other hand, I would also like to write tribute pages to well established/defunct bands that have given me so much pleasure over the years….which way to go?
I thought maybe an “In Profile” series of pages could do both quite well.
The first one is already up here. Please go read it and gimmie some feedback.
I would like to do the same thing for lots of bands, known and unknown. The well known bands already have plenty of information “out there” about them, so I’ll probably just seek it all out and gather it here with links, pictures, youtube vids and what have you.
For the lesser known bands/people I would like to ask them a few questions and put it here. I thought maybe a list of the people I am most interested in plugging might be a good idea. I don’t like to hassle anyone though, so I thought if I list names maybe they might find this page in a google search and want to participate…if not, never mind, maybe they never googled their name! Everyone wins!
Here is my list of people I would like to feature here, in no particular order.
Scotty Anderson from The Deep End (watch this guy, he is going places)
Irwin Thomas from Electric Mary (what an amazing story he must have)
Jai Larkan from The Wishing Well (why are they not HUGE)?
Dave Walker (Amazing storyteller, great entertainer)
Damien Howard (very energetic and magnetic to watch)
Jeff Jenkins of The Heart Starters (Real ROCK is still out there, accept no substitutes!)
Bob Spencer, Finch, Skyhooks, The Angels, Temple Gods…this guy has done it all. I bet he has some stories to tell. (He will be mentioned later at some point. I plan to do a Skyhooks page)
There are more, and this list will probably grow, but I would love to give any of those guys a plug.

Album Reviews
Coming Soon
Although I haven’t actually written one yet, this is where they will go when I do. The thing is, if I leave this space blank, the whole front page looks uneven….and we can’t have that.
I will probably be reviewing old albums rather than new ones. Everyone else is falling over themselves to get [...]
T.V
Why I Don’t Watch TV.
Don’t get me wrong, I watch heaps of TV shows, just not on Television. We rent them for the most part. The reason is that TV networks think you the TV viewer are idiots. They will feed you a diet of totally unwatchable shit, woefully conceived and acted local rubbish and incredibly [...]

Paddy Predictions For 2009
It’s that time of year when every man and their dog make predictions for the new year. I have a few of my own predictions for your entertainment.
#1 and most exciting for me is that I believe Savatage will return in 2009. (More on this later)
#2 I believe Australia will turn out a [...]

Stuff 'bout Me
Linux Mint
For the last three years or so Kati and I have been playing with various Linux operating systems. After trying a dozen or so with very mixed results, we settled on Mepis Linux. This one seemed to work pretty well “out of the box”. However there were some issues with it that [...]

Yeah I know, it’s crap, it’s stupid and it’s asinine…but, but it’s Star Trek man.
