Looks Like I Have A New House!

Well it looks like it's pretty final and this will be our new home! I've always loved old houses and this one was built in 1860! The kids and animals have plenty of room to run!
We should be able to close on the 1st...now last minute scrambling here to get things ready to move!
Well, we are rightn now in the midst of a huge thunderstorm so I better sign off now!
Oh, keep in mind that the trees are bare since these photos were taken in the winter!

Crepe Myrtle

I planted this little baby Crepe Myrtle when we first moved in. Look how pretty the blooms are!

Nick is in Roanoke now. He has to start work tomorrow. We still don't have a house there but he looked at one that I have had my eye on. It's an old home (I love old houses) and he's undecided about it right now. If you pray, pray that we get that house if it's meant to be!

I feel badly for not updating but have been busy on my side, packing and getting the house in order for the move.

I will post regularly once we get settled in!

My New Location

My husband took this picture while he was there checking out the area a couple of weeks ago. Not sure where the picture was taken but that is the big city, lol, where we will be moving to. We won't actually live in the city, on the outskirts. The topography is completely different than here. Can you guess where this is?

Walton County 2nd Place Champions!

This is the Walton County Loganville Jayhawks team. (My boys are in the upper row in the middle, the one with the goofy smile and the one to the right of him,lol). They played a heck of a season, only losing one game. Went on to the tournament and played all the way till the last game, unfortunately losing by one point, 13-12. It was a great game and they played hard. Our coaches were wonderful, teaching the boys so much. Our team had alot of heart and spirit!
Tomorrow night we get to go see the coaches play in the "Old Man Tournament" so that should be fun!

I've got myself a new monitor so I'm back! I probably won't have much time for posting this week though. Getting my husband ready to head out next week to his new location for training. But I will be back with some hints of the new place! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me notes! It's nice to know you are still there, even with my hiatus!

Update without a photo

Well, my internet went down then my monitor broke, ack! I'm posting from dh's laptop and have no idea how to download my pictures from it. I got a new monitor but it's not connecting right. Hopefully I'll have it resolved shortly. I forget how dependent I am on the internet for everything, phone numbers, recipes, etc.....

Now for other updates. It's official, my city blog will be coming at you from a new location soon! Hopefully when I get my computer figured out I can post some hint pictures so you can try to guess where it will be!

Butterfly Bush

My Butterfly Bush is in full bloom! It seems like it happened overnight! I love this bush. It was little when I planted it a couple of years back, but look how quickly it's grown up! I didn't see any butterflies or bees this morning but usually they are all abuzz on it!
