Starting in 1996, Alexa Internet has been donating their crawl data to the Internet Archive. Flowing in every day, these data are added to the Wayback Machine after an embargo period.

BlogsNow: The End
BlogsNow used to be a meme tracker that read along blogs and would find emerging topics. Launched in 2004 it overall worked pretty well. For years it showed a comprehensive list of what is currently going on on the web.
It takes some work and effort to maintain and update a system that ranks millions of blogs close to realtime. More than I want to put in.
