Harbour colours.
We spent a day down at the harbour when I was doing my GCSE's and had to do lots of observational drawing. Ever since, I have found the kinds of grungy colours that you get in places like this bizarrely beautiful. I love the rusty oranges and greens.

Shopping.
This is the big fancy shopping centre part of Folkestone that was recently built. Personally, I think it's nice and that it is a great thing but I do feel that it was a little disappointing in a few ways. Mainly:- The architecture does not mesh at all with the rest of Folkestone - which is especially obvious looking at the buildings around it. The shopping centre is all sandstone and whites and blues - very modern looking. Meanwhile, Folkestone is mainly made up of old, orangey brick buildings with these beautifully fancy windows.
- It is about 70% ASDA.
- It's not really a shopping centre. I was expecting something with a food court! I love food courts!

The Dirty Pond.
I like those gates. I always end up here with people... at the dirty old pond. I've got a picture somewhere of my friends Tony and Dean looking really miserable next to this pond. I wonder if the pond caused it.I had a bottle of Tango Cherry that day.

Erosion.
There are lots of signs like this around because there is so much erosion around the coast... so we get loads of land slides.

Harmless English Bugs
Things I am almost definitely missing right now, in Brazil - Day 15
I found this little lady in Kingsnorth Gardens. It would never dream of giving me Denghi Fever. Well, maybe it does dream about it because me "cooing" at it, probably wasn't much to her liking.
