Government walking right into Moore’s publicity stunt

Michael Moore is under investigation for taking a trip to Cuba with 9/11 workers to seek “medical” treatment for their problems. Moore started an application for a trip to Cuba, but never followed through with the paper work. The usual questions had to be answered before an approval; stating the reason for the trip (we all get asked that question when leaving the country), contact information of the people he’ll be staying with (pretty routine), an itenerary of the trip… does any of this provide a reason for Moore to skip out on the paper work? Finally! I get to bash Michael Moore once again

The website for Rolling Stone Magazine apparently interviewed 20 artists and leaders that helped shape our time. For some psychotic and bizarre reason, Michael Moore was one of them. Although he hasn’t actually accomplished anything except get rich, and although nothing he has done has ever had any real impact, STILL he is listed among the top 20 artists and leaders that helped “shape” our time. I used quotes on the word shape because Rolling Stone apparently has some crazy definition of the word that few reasonable people on this Earth would use. I could think of 50 artists and leaders that FAR surpass anything Moore has done, and that’s just off the top of my head. Check out what he’s said in the interview:

Virginia Tech Shooting

I’m sure all of you have already heard the constant updates of the terrible tragedy that happened in Blacksburg, Virginia. As I am writing this blog entry, there still isn’t a solid number of people killed. As of right now all I know is around 30 people were murdered, and many more are now missing loved ones. I hope to God that all of you who have loved ones at that university were able to get good news of their safety.

For those who have lost a loved one, my heart goes out to you. This is a terrible day, a day which I pray will never happen again. Take care and stay safe, all of you.

Iran knows they’re wrong

This whole situation with the 15 British hostages is becoming critical. First Iran kidnaps them from Iraqi waters, lies about them being in Iranian waters, forces the British hostages to give OBVIOUSLY scripted confessions, and now the threat of trial looms over the heads of the hostages.

Here’s my take on this whole mess:

Dow drops 200 points, here comes the Bush bashing!

I told you guys the huge surge in the stock market wouldn’t last, it’s the natural course of economics. But we’re going to hear plenty of liberals who blame Bush in the liberal witch-hunt for this “perilous economy” as the Dow plummets. Stock levels dropped in Europe as well as China, which led to the drop in America’s stocks. But I suppose the problems Europe and China experienced is all Bush’s fault too, right?

These same liberals give full credit to Bush for economic failures, but deny that he had any part in economic triumphs. When will these people learn that Bush has little to no role in the ups and downs of our economy? And not just liberals make this mistake, I’ve seen conservatives give Bush credit for success but not failure when it comes to the economy. He deserves no credit of any kind, bad or good. This is just the natural course of economics.

Ruben Navarrette Jr.’s article on the convicted border agents

“But what about those unsympathetic Republican hacks, Minutemen vigilantes and conservative bloggers who are using this case to further their own agendas? For Sutton, it’s a reminder that there is no substitute for the American justice system. While not perfect, that system is designed to dole out justice based on facts and law, not politics.”

I tried to not touch on this issue but I believe it’s time I did. I have heard there is a lot of sympathy for the two border patrol agents, Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos, who were convicted of shooting Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila and trying to cover it up. Here is my take: Read the rest of this item »

Merry Christmas!

Haven’t posted much in awhile since I’ve been very busy lately, especially with the shopping.

I just wanted to wish all of you, conservative or liberal, a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I hope Santa took a big dump in Michael Moore’s stocking this year.
