WCGO was established in 1959 by Mr. Anthony Santucci. It has been a staple in the South Suburbs of Cook County ever since. With the adult standards format we have captured a 35+ demographic that are extremely loyal to our radio station. This format offers memories by artists like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Perry Como along with "The Big Band," artists like Glen Miller, Artie Shaw and Duke Ellington plus Classics by contempory artists like Anne Murray, Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand and Barry Manilow. Unforgettable 1600's national talent includes radio personalities with distinguished careers and emphathy for their audience.
