Our latest breakthrough in heating turns ceiling fans into year-round heating/cooling appliances. The 750W/1200W ceramic heater has its own internal fan which disperses the heat down into the room. The ceiling fan blades are used to circulate the heated air 360 degrees, creating a warm summer breeze and an optimum zone heating system. The ceramic heating elements are safe, powerful, and energy efficient. Comfort control is by way of an adjustable thermostat. Easy pull-chain operation controls the heater and an overheat protection device ensures safe, unattended operation.

BERJAYAOur new Heater/Light Kit technology was developed to turn ceiling fans into year-round heating/cooling appliances. The Heater/Light Kit can be retrofitted onto already installed ceiling fans to provide zone heating comfort and climate control. The same two wire installation is used as in a standard light kit, making the Heater/Light Kit very easy to install.

The Heater/Light Kit has a ceramic heater with 750W/1200W operation, an automatic thermostat, an overheat protection device, and a removable/washable dust filter. The lights includes 4 arm extensions with 60 watt per arm bulb capacity. Heater and light control is by easy pull-chain operation.

BERJAYAThe FlexiFurnace family of Honeycomb Disc Furnaces represent a radical technology that turns them into flexible all-season appliances. The front heating section of each unit detaches, can be easily cleaned, and can be replaced with the additional fan cartridge grill to turn each FlexiFurnace into a spring/summer desktop fan. The additional charcoal activated filter supplied with the fan removes dust, tobacco smoke, and other particles from the air.

The Honeycomb Disc heating system was developed in the 1980s and was first used in cargo aircraft to provide a quick, safe, powerful, and efficient source of heat. This system was so effective, it was quickly introduced to the consumer market with the first honeycomb ceramic disc furnace. As a result, a whole new category in heating began - ceramics.

BERJAYAThe Honeycomb Disc is self-regulating; each 375 watt Honeycomb Disc is a semiconductor which is made of barium titanate ceramic material coated with brass and silver - good conductors of electricity. It has a very high Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) which means that as the temperature of the ceramic heating element increases, its resistance also increases. As a result, the current flow decreases and thus reduces energy consumption. The properties of the unique material also make it a very safe heating technology because its temperature operates well below the ignition point of even tissue paper.

 CERAMIC FIN

The Ceramic Fin heating system uses a combination of strips of ceramic material and aluminum to generate heat. Electrical contacts heat the strips which in turn heat the aluminum. The air is heated as it is forced through the heater.

The airflow temperature coming out of of Ceramic Fin systems approach 175 degrees Fahrenheit to 220 degrees Fahrenheit, which is well above that of typical convection (coil) heating systems. Although its heat transfer is not as high as the Honeycomb Disc, the Ceramic Fin is more effective and safer than radiant and other fan forced electrical heating elements. Electronic Temperature Controls - Our patented Electronic Temperature Controls are the most effective and the most efficient kinds of thermostats because they eliminate heat loss and maintain the greatest temperature accuracy. They allow the user to preselect a temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius. These sophisticated thermostats do not cycle on and off and usually have ambient temperature sensors (located on the cord of each heating appliance) which sense the room temperature and continuously adjust the heat output automatically. Automatic Temperature Controls - Automatic Temperature Controls are not as sophisticated as Electronic Temperature Controls but are more efficient than Conventional "cycling" Thermostats because they reduce heat loss. Conventional "cycling" Thermostats - Conventional or "cycling" thermostats are the most commonly used thermostats. They cycle on and off when they reach a particular temperature. This noisy cycling generates heat loss and produces periodic instances of hot/cold spells which often cause discomfort.
