From flowers to lights
Winter arrived early in Anchorage. Snow is on the ground. Most people walk with a little more
energy in their step, illustrating that the season of snow and sunshine ranks as number
one for many of us who live here. During the
gorgeous, sunny summer of 1996, Anchorage lived up to its theme as "The City of Flowers"
Now, as the holidays beckon, we look forward once again to becoming "The City of Lights."
