Where my Canna Lilies used to dwell two years ago is now freshly seeded grass
Flowers in whats left of my garden 💐
After five years my Blue Columbines and Maroon Columbines are all yellow ❗️I think the die got all rinsed off from the green houses ❗️
After research, I found out Columbines change colors for their growing region ❗️
Colorado – blue ; Utah – white ; Washington – yellow ….❓

My health forced me to ghost my canna lillies this year 😢
They would have had a bad time this summer in East Tennessee with 5″ below normal rain fall, drought (worst I’ve seen living here 18 years)
I can not lie them down every winter (to protect the rhizomes) then haul the stalks to the curb every spring. Starting with two plants seventeen yrs ago, It has been a good run 🙂

After 17 years I put my Canna Lilies to Rest, we had a good run, starting with two plants, then surrounding the house 😢
My arthritis and health prevents me from caring for them anymore so Washe & I sent them to the 🎶 ‘Spirit (Garden) in the Sky’ 🎶
They averaged 10 to 12 foot tall growing an inch a day all summer ❗️
