Spoilers: Set during the first half of Season 3. Logan and Veronica reunited as per the show in episode 3x10 but it veers off from there in that there’s no Madison so there was no subsequent break-up.
Warnings: Contains some swearing and references to violence.
Author’s Note: This has been written for the Cliché Ficathon at vm_boardwalk. The cliché I used for this is posted at the end of the fic. I have to be honest and say that this isn’t anywhere near what I consider to be my best work and I apologise for that. hope27 prompted me a while back when she made me some lovely artwork (for a fic that I *will* be finishing, if it kills me), and I got this overblown idea that I thought might work nicely for the challenge, and she has waited so patiently, even offering some beta services in the beginning. shealynn88 held my hand through the beginning and prodded me along (as she always does, thank you luv). And of course, my lovely scoob2222, who I practically bug every second of every day but she never complains.

Okay, so taking pics of things that remind me of VM was a lot harder than expected. It seems when you're actually looking for things that remind you of the show suddenly you don't see as many things compared to when you're not looking.

Particularly, the xterra. I swear I must have seen at least ten of them the day I took this picture but whenever I tried to get a shot of it the batteries in my camera would die or it would quickly drive off. But Alas, I was able to get my shot.

This one I might be stretching a bit but both their names start with a B (top: Bruno, bottom: Backup) and they're both pitbulls.

Okay this one I know I'm stretching it a bit but to be fair I didn't realize exactly how far I was stretching it until I found the vm screencap.

Remind Me of....Picspam

I can not escape VM.

Everyday it seems I come across something that reminds me of Veronica Mars. A street sign with a name related to the show, a yellow xterra--- I spot at least five a day ---a building or location that looks similar to ones from the show. The list goes on.

The challenge: Carry a camera with you on your every day routine and snap pictures of anything that reminds you of VM and post it as a picspam for next week. It'll be fun to see just how many things in real life is somehow related to the fictional world of VM.

Thanks for signing up for the VM Cliche FIcathon. I just finished sending out the assignments, so please let me know if you don't get them soon. Please remember to check your SPAM filters as I don't know many of you and it might slip through the cracks. They all should be coming from rlffoster at gmail.com (or Rosalyn ******, as I don't really want to put my whole name out on the internet.)

As I said in that email, the fics are due on April 30th, right before the show comes back. Please remember to post them to VM-Boardwalk.

Trixx and I sent out five cliches to each of you. Feel free to use whichever you're comfortable with. It is possible to use more than one if you think they work well together, but there's no obligation to do that.

If there are any more questions, let me know (either in a comment here, or in an email.) Trixx and I will talk about ones that require discussion, but I don't see that happening too much.

Starting Tuesday March 13th, vm_boardwalk will be launching its first ever spring hiatus carnival. Each day of the week for the next eight weeks of the hiatus will be a different activity here at the boardwalk. To accommodate this new event the comm will be put under moderation lock down, that means all posts will have to be approved by one of the mods before it can be posted to assure they are being posted for the right activities.

ETA: The only exceptions to the moderation rule are for those participating in the Cliche Ficathon. Those are the only posts we will approve no matter what day it is.
