"Age of Dissent" 1994 Maya Vision for Channel 4

My first broadcast film. Self-shot documentary video diary style documentary following a case at the European Court of Human Rights on the UK gay male age of consent, which was then 21. I was one of the plaintiffs.

• Pitched film to C4, and had it commissioned by the Independent Film and Video dept.

• Self shot material, and directed crews during large events.

• Film features (amongst others) Sir Ian McKellen, Stephen Fry, Dawn French and Joanna Lumley.
