Sorry for the short notice, but I only just heard about this myself. In the off chance there's anyone reading this is in or around Boise, Idaho (which is pretty much a steampunk-free zone, excluding myself,) tomorrow night in celebration of Fat Tuesday will be a Burlesque-style Red Light Variety Show and the Neurolux. Tickets will need to be purchased during the day at The Record Exchange and will not be sold at the door.

If you do, in fact, happen to be going, look for me (I'lll be dressed full-on steampunk), as I'd love to meet other steampunks here in Idaho.

The Shadow of Crimson is a Live Action Role-Playing game set in White Wolf’s Victorian-era Vampire world. The game will emphasize role playing and character interaction but will also include political intrigue and problem-solving for individuals who wish to tackle the growing problem presented by Jack the Ripper.
The game will use a simplified version of White Wolf’s Minds Eye Theatre rules, but game mechanics will be largely secondary to acting and to socializing. Individuals who are unfamiliar with Live Action games, or even role playing games in general, are still invited to try their hand at what is essentially improve acting in a friendly, fantasy Victorian setting.

The Menu is as followes and includes a chocolate fountain and other delectables.

There will be an In-Character Art Show
The art show will begin 9pm Friday night and judging will
continue through to Saturday 10pm.
There will be a prize awarded Out-of-Character for the best art piece, to be voted on by the other players.
So, if you're going to participate, bring something you have actually done.

There will be a Scavenger Hunt
The scavenger hunt will begin at 10pm Friday.
Before the hunt begins, hunters will be divided into teams and given lists of what to find.
The Hunt ends at 10:30 Saturday, with IC & OOC prizes awarded.

Masquerade BallOn the second evening (the 14th) there will be an in-game costume ball.
There will be real prizes OOC for
Best Masquerade Ball Costume, boy and girl;
Best Character Costume, boy and girl;
and Best role-play for both nights of the event.

There will also be a Fencing Tournament that will start on Friday and end on Saturday, with IC & OOC prizes awarded.

Also we have a special surprise for you all.

a belly dancer to come perform
a professional sword swoller and blockhead
a juggler
tentatively a fire eater
and many many more forms of entertainment for the eyes

Come with your cameras and take lots of photos to post to the KoNY LJ Community, the One World Community, or pretty much anywhere you please. Anyone who takes and posts more than 30 pictures and includes
a link to the KoNY LJ Community will recieve bonus xp.

This was originally a very expensive gift a loved one gave me. It cost them a lot as RL is not cheap when it comes from their shop from Manhassat Long Island, NY.
