Where’s Larry? An interview with Philip Barrett

And while helping Larry move his crock of gold we found cartoonist Philip Barrett at the end of the rainbow! So we thought we’d interview him about his new book Where’s Larry? from O’Brien Press in which Larry travels around Ireland hiding in some of Ireland’s most beautiful spots such as the Giant’s Causeway and Galway Bay. Phil tells us the ins and outs of illustrating such a detailed book, his upcoming small press comics and he reveals just who was the inspiration for Larry’s smile!

Alan talks about his current work on his first graphic novel ‘Get Off That Ship’ which sets out to chronicle the true story of Frank Browne, a member of the Jesuit order in Ireland and a prolific photographer who travelled from Southampton to Queenstown on the ill-fated Titanic and the twist of fate that saved his life.
