CS2 feels like a game that is falling apart no matter where you look.

Valve said we were moving forward with subtick and a “better” Counter-Strike experience, but we are still dealing with endless bugs and broken systems. One example is damage prediction being enabled by default. Sometimes the enemy goes into the death animation, then suddenly stands back up like nothing happened. How is that even acceptable in a competitive FPS?

And that is only one issue. In CS:GO, at least we could easily play workshop maps with friends. Now we keep trying after every update to see if it works properly, and it still does not. Deathmatch is full of bots, so we are forced to use third-party servers like xplay or Cybershock just to have a normal warm-up experience.

I will not even go too deep into Competitive and Premier. Premier is completely ruined by cheaters. Even around 15k rating, there are players using wallhack everywhere. I added one cheater just to see how long he would keep playing before getting banned. Three months later, he was still spinning like a Beyblade and had reached around 30k Premier rating. He was still not banned.

Some people say “just play FACEIT if you want a clean game,” but FACEIT requires Secure Boot, and I do not want to enable something that can add input lag or mess with my system. Also, why should I have to force all my friends to install a third-party platform just to play Counter-Strike properly? On top of that, playing FACEIT does not help me level up in CS2, so I still have to return to the official game for weekly drops, and then the same problems start again.

Even basic things feel broken. Alt-tabbing out of the game and coming back takes time for the game to recover properly. Every update fixes one thing and breaks another.

CS2 has amazing potential, but right now it feels unfinished, unstable, and neglected. Counter-Strike deserves much better than this.
