It brings together five partner universities and regional health stakeholders to address one of the key challenges in European healthcare systems: improving access and equity for older adults with lower health and digital literacy (LHDL).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Co-funded under the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation framework programme (2021\u20132027) of the European Union (UE), the project aims to strengthen the capacity of older patients to understand and use digital health services, supporting prevention, disease management, and communication with caregivers across primary, hospital, and community care settings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The main goal of STARS-Health is to reduce inequalities in healthcare access by empowering older adults with limited health and digital literacy skills.
