So this is my little project. It's a collection of short stories which are from a sort of alternate reality where most everything is the same, but I have molded certain aspects to suit my needs. The short stories are a time-line, character shaping memory collection of sorts for the later tale I am working on.

Hello! So, I'm new at this community - actually, for that matter I new at LJ. I've been reading fics [specially hg/ss] for a few years now and decided to star posting my own stories, no matter how simple they are. So, here's my first work.

Summary: It is set at the end of HBP, but it would fit as a Prolog in DH. The unexpected happens to Hermione.

My friend is a real funny chick. Back when I read DH for the first time and after I finished it, she came over and said, "I haven't seen you for three days. You haven't called your boyfriend. Whats wrong with you?" And I told her nothing was wrong, and when she wouldn't believe me, she kept pestering me. "There's something wrong, " she said. And I shouted:

She just laughed at me and then turned around and said, "You'll get over it." She went back to Brisbane that week and sent me a text messgae saying things would work out.

Then, yesterday afternoon mum handed me a letter...and I laughed because I knew it was from her.
