Drabble: Punishment - HP
Dropping by to post a random HP drabble written for 
xandyrd. I love HP and do enjoy fic from that fandom, but have never actually written anything for it until now. Not sure about the results, but I found visiting Snape to be entertaining.

Punishment
Children were the bane of his existence. He hadn't even liked them when he was one himself. Let alone the unruly rugrats constantly making his life hell at Hogwarts.
"The world obviously has a morbid sense of humor..." Snape mumbled as he once again attempted to correct the Potter brat’s lackluster attempt at a simple cleaning potion. That observation was soon followed by a less that quiet growl of "Kill me now..." as the boy blithely added too many dragon wings at just the wrong moment, causing the potion to explode spectacularly, coating every one in a noxious green slime.
Children were obviously his punishment for being much more intelligent than everyone else. And he was obviously their punishment for simply existing. At least the world had balance he thought, even if it was a rather sadistic one.
