ROLM

ROLM Corporation was a technology company founded by four engineers in 1969.[1] The company first made a rugged portable computer for the U.S. military. In 1973,[2] ROLM began making telephone systems and created the ROLM CBX, a computerized phone switch. The company was known for its employee-friendly workplace culture and was bought by IBM in 1984.[3][2]
